Today was great! I am planning to start using the information immediately! My belief is that every student, especially "at risk urban students" -they must be taught this!

It is a long overdue tool, necessary to educate our children about their own culture as well as others.

The message of Journeys in Film is The message that American schools need to teach.

Journeys in Film gets students thinking, talking, and reflecting. Watching the film was wonderful! To be able to go inside another human being's life and world and vicariously experience their life and culture is PRICELESS!

This is such an easy way to begin incorporating understanding of multiple cultures.

The film was magnificent. It demands deep thinking from students.  The resources are astounding and I plan to share and use them.

The film and activities definitely promote international understanding.  There is so much to share with other teachers. Thank you!

Cultural exchange through films is a practical way for us to become familiar with how people live in other cultures. It allows us to address It allows us to address this issue without confrontation, or traveling to experience their thoughts, feelings, traditions etc.

Journeys in Film is interesting and hopeful!

The film will encourage reading and writing while opening student's eyes to cultural similarities and differences.  The curriculum book is filled with resources and will be beneficial to all teachers.
